ROBIN

In Wales, the robin is known as 'brou-rhuddyn' or 'scorched breast’. The name is derived from the robin’s breast being scorched by the fires of purgatory as it was delivering water to tormented souls. Another story is that the Robin’s chest was scorched whilst it was fanning the flames of a dying fire that was keeping the baby Jesus warm.

Whatever the origins of its name, these Robin hooks were forged in fire like the legends. Sturdy and solid, they will stand the test of time with the same love.

Handmade with hot sculpted furnace glass and one-of-a kind. It can also be used as a drawer pull instead.
