MY PHILOSOPHY

With a background in design, my aim is to make pieces which are as useful as they are beautiful and the Japanese philosophy of Yo-no-bi strongly resonates with me.
It is the beauty of everyday practical objects made by craftsmen, a harmony of the aesthetic and the functional. Each piece has a story and is an embodiment of my inspiration, ideas and techniques which is reflected in its given name.
They are lovingly handcrafted and one-of-a-kind, individually named, signed and numbered, so you will own something uniquely special that no one else has.

The emphasis is on producing organic forms and not sculpting pieces that look like they have been perfectly made by a machine - undulating curves and asymmetry draw parallels to the fact that we all different, even within our own bodies.
